Today's series is more of a "Spinoff" of my trips to the Netherlands over the last few weeks. Even though most of the woods looked like winter, I was able to catch a lot of colourful autumn colours.
Most of the pictures are from heath landscapes of the Netherlands (Noordbrabant and Limburg) and a few pictures (Beeches) from my new home, the Ennepe-Ruhrkreis.
Especially the birch trees are my favorites; I had already some picture ideas in my head, which I was finally able to create. Although I visited some other heath landscapes in the last years, I needed birches for this, which stand directly in front of a dark forest and which are hit by the sun only as streak light in a certain angle - finally I found such conditions.
I wish you a lot of fun with my autumn tree portfolio!
I hope you enjoyed the series! In one week we will have the sequel, with some landscape details from the Netherlands...
Best regards,
Thomas
