Today I show you my last blog series for this year, currently I'm already working on the first series for 2021. In it I also show you some statistics about the last 13 years with nature photography.
After my last series from the "Land of Birches" I received a lot of feedback via e-mail and Instagram - thanks for that!
I was able to spend a little more time with it. I had no concrete picture ideas in my mind when I went to the birch trees several times, but I always went home with a good yield.
This time the heath landscapes and birches of the Ruhr area showed their winterly side. On the one hand I was able to capture beautiful landscape pictures in the fog, on the other hand I was focused on some details of the birch trunks - there were also surprising colours and shapes.
In snowy conditions I would also like to add a third birch series, but my preferred areas are not even 100 meters above sea level. So I would be happy if such conditions exist at all on a day in winter - let's see!
I hope I was able to show that winter also brings nice colour and light moods and I wish you a lot of fun with the series now!
