Today I’d like to share the second part of my Iceland photos with you 😊
During our recent photography trip, participants had plenty of opportunities to choose their own photographic focus, as we were travelling with two cars and were therefore quite flexible.
Although my own photos this year leaned more towards wildlife photography, our overall emphasis was slightly on landscape photography. Since I’ve visited many of these places several times before, I don’t always reach for my camera straight away anymore – instead, I sometimes just take a moment to enjoy nature. That was exactly the case during our whale watching tour in Húsavík, where we were lucky enough to see many whales. I simply let the Insta360° camera run and otherwise just soaked in the view – in glorious sunshine and a lovely atmosphere.
This year, I only took a few landscape shots myself, at a handful of locations. Most of the time, I enjoyed being with the group and, of course, shared the occasional tip.
Today, I’d like to show you these photos in chronological order – my personal scenic highlights were the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, the area around Mývatn with Goðafoss and Námafjall, and for the second year in a row, the beautiful light at Brúarfoss.
I hope you enjoy the photos – sending warm regards,
Thomas
