From a photographic point of view I missed two things in Iceland. We didn`t see strong northern lights and it was not really snowy. Ususally no good conditions for a
wintertrip to Iceland. But things went different.
I am always focused on creating unique pictures, but this doesn`t work very often. Usually, I have this feeling with about 25% of my pictures of each blogpost. But this time I have this feeling with almost the entire picture series.
The conditions were very special. We didn`t see a single moody and foggy day. We had lots of beautiful skies, great light, an amazing storm and a few times I was
able to create some new perspectives of these motifs.
That`s why I am able to present 25 landscape pictures, which I am very proud of.
We fell in love with the area around Jökusarlon Glacier Lagoon already in the past, so we stayed there for five out of 13 days. For this reason you find lots of new pics of my favourite „diamond” beach, alternating with the other locations.
