In the Netherlands: Between autumn and winter

Before I write about the beauty of Dutch nature, one thing first: That was a hard piece of work 😮. I hardly had such a hard time with a (autumn) series...

I had planned to explore some new spots in Limburg and North Brabant and create a series of them - but I was a bit unlucky regarding the weather conditions.

On five days I went into the Dutch nature. The first two times without creating a single picture. Well, at least the spots were explored. After that the same weather forecast appeared almost every time: fog-cloud-sun-mix, simply perfect! But far wrong. Only once there were some nice clouds for classic landscape shots, the other days it was always cloudless.

Well, the sun was definitely there and at least there was always fog above the water surface. So after a long time I unpacked my medium telephoto lens again and was able to take most of the pictures of this series with the "70-200". There were a few wonderful light moods!

The late season had the advantage that even at noon the sun was very low and the light was almost never too hard. Thus most of the pictures of this series were created quite atypically: not only with the Tele lens, but many pictures even between 10.00 and 15.00 o'clock.

Now I wish you a lot of fun with this series!
