With today's 4th part of my series I would like to show you a few scenes where I had special conditions and could find extraordinary trees.
Photographically, I especially liked icing instead of masses of snow, because in these cases every single branch, no matter how small, is covered in white, but the tree retains its natural contour and does not give in to the snow load. It is ideal if these conditions occur after there is already a decent snow cover for a nice foreground. Just in the second half of this series you will find a few of those shots.
When you want to showcase the extreme white photographically, it's a little different than usual: in nice backlighting conditions, for example, white trees tend to get dark. If you want to emphasize the white, then in my eyes the trees look very nice against the background of a dark blue sky, with the light in your back.
Exactly those shots I want to show you today and hope you will like the series!
I hope you enjoyed the series 😉
