Early summer in the Netherlands (part 1): between flowers and apple trees

For a good decade now, Christina and I have fallen in love with the natural areas of the Netherlands. Especially of the heath- and dune landscapes, but we have also been able to visit great forest and marshland areas.

After we explored the coastal landscapes and border areas in the first years, we have already picked up the last two years rather the center of the country.

In early summer we continued this and explored two new areas, of which I would like to show you a few pictures today: among other things, we came across a lot of rapeseed there - this is not always cultivated agriculturally, in these areas it is often found in wild form near many apple trees - that was a great view!

The old apple trees themselves were also impressive and starlings were breeding in almost every tree, it was a wild scene and a nature lover's dream. A highlight was certainly a foggy morning, which has provided very special light moods - coupled with a good moon position it was a really mystical atmosphere.

I wish you now a lot of fun with this first part from the Netherlands!

Many greetings,
Thomas

PS: a small hint - I received this hint by a Dutch photo colleague with the request not „spread it“ - I would like to keep my word and give no further/concrete location information…
