Today I would like to show you another series from the world of birds. It was created last weekend, when we went spontaneously for a short trip to Texel, because the weather there was much better announced than here. The following series was created in just 50 hours, between Saturday morning and Monday morning.
Somehow it works out this year with wildlife photography and I had the luck on my side: at the well-known Wagejot there was a Brandt tern colony on the foremost shell bank. Coupled with the right wind direction, it was a great opportunity to finally implement flight shots without the sky as a background.
A second highlight were pheasants. The last times I saw them there was too high grass, but this time it worked. I`ll show you 7 pheasant pictures of the whole "family".
This series also closes the first half of the year, which was really successful photographically - this is already my 21st blog article in 2021, I have never been able to realize this in a half year before.
A short teaser: currently I'm working on a series about a very large bird of prey, which is really exciting but at the same time very time-consuming. I hope to be able to present a corresponding series in about 3 weeks. After that, I'm also gradually moving towards landscape photography, because the heather bloom is coming up and with it the first foggy mornings.
Have a nice day and best regards,
I hope you enjoyed the series 😀🖐
