Between spring and early summer - landscape photography in the blooming season

Today I may present you some pictures of my favorite images from this year:

The time between spring and early summer is a great and colourful time for landscape photography, next to the heath bloom in August and the golden October.

Now the last months I had some good opportunities for wildlife photography, see also my last series - so this year I could invest only little time for the spring landscapes. So I could not dedicate myself to one subject over several days, I had to compromise. Only one thing I had resolved - not to end up in tulipfields 😅, because I dont really like those agriculturally used areas.

So this series came to pass, where I could visit 3 places only once each. However, quite selectively, if the forecast was really good - therefore almost all pictures show special light moods.

My two highlights were on the one hand that foggy Sunday morning in the Netherlands, where I could take some lapwing pictures as well as the pheasant picture of my last series. On the other hand a short morning in the bluebell forest. Here I could photograph due to appointments exactly 55 minutes on the spot - however since I could foresee weatherwise exactly that it becomes good, I made the effort to go there; this worked out and I was able to take one of my favorite pictures of the current year so far.

By the way, I have added 2 pictures to this series from last year, which I completely missed and which I could not show yet.

Now I wish you a lot of fun with this series and a nice day 🖐
