Asturias: Because it's so beautiful...

First of all, I wish everyone a Happy New Year 2020! I hope you had a few relaxing days and you were able to take some time for nature 😉

With this series I look back on an exciting year 2019! As already mentioned in my blog post of November 3rd, I had a little luck here. Despite the fact that I was able to spend just 80% of the time compared to previous years, my yield was even higher than ever before.

In 2018 I was already able to create a good spectrum of motifs with 21 blog articles. In 2019, I had 25 blog articles with a greater variety, as I was finally able to use other genres of nature photography again and shoot some wildlife series. Looking back I am very happy about that and also in 2020 I will dedicate myself again to some interesting animal species from time to time.

At the end of the year we wanted to do a little “photo trip” – in case of a lot of snow we planned to go to Garmisch or Berchtesgaden again, but it didn't happen - so we decided to go a little further and spent 10 days in beautiful Asturias - in places we couldn't explore and photograph on our trip in September.

The weather again tended to be a bit too good and often cloudless (this lasts for a couple of months now), and yet we were able to capture some very nice light moods. Apart from the photography, it was pretty cool to explore this actually rough corner of Spain for 10 days with no wind and a lot of sunshine.

Today I show you some pictures of our 4 favorite beaches and their impressive rock colours and formations.

I wish you a good start into the New Year!
