Far North (Part 3) - Sea Worlds

In the last part of the Norway series I want to show you the impressive coasts and beaches of this beautiful country. Here you will find many landscape classics, but I definitely can't get enough of them.

Among them you will also find pictures from Senja. Photographically, this island offers many great motifs, especially one place was my favorit (obviously, if you look at the pictures 😉).

Overall, however, it will not be our favorite island, because you often stand or drive directly along the very high and steep fjords. Lofoten is a bit more „bright“. In addition, one drives on Senja incredibly often through narrow tunnels (record was 26 in one day).

On the Lofoten there are photographically extremely attractive foregrounds for the creation of landscape pictures:

Curved rock formations

  • Colourful "tide pools" from red to green to blue
  • Sand structures due to washed over sediments (see series 2)
  • Extremely light/white sand
  • Partly yellow coloured algae

 And much more....

For us it is certain that it will soon go there again, although we have to decide this at very short notice for known reasons - but maybe "the situation" is a bit better next year and you can plan more reliably again.

Thank you very much for your interest in this series!

Many greetings,

Thomas
